I have a 2008 subaru forester.
Subaru outback fob door lock button not working.
Open and close the door once more then in about five seconds the key fob should be working.
These sound really simple.
Simultaneously press the remote s lock and trunk open buttons until you hear a long beep this takes about 5 seconds.
Access key fob transmitter.
I ve replaces the battery with no luck.
I d recently replaced the fob battery too so didn t think it would be that but i replaced it anyway but it s still the same.
The remote does not open the door lock or trigger the alarm.
But there s a huge catch.
Admiddedly the second one was the one used from new and is quite worn out but it still used to work.
