Large image extra large image. Pop the black plastic insert out of your inside small door latch handle. Remove the panel by pulling up on it. I believe there are 1 or 2 screws holding the chrome piece on.

This cannot be repaired. Take those off and you can shimmy that chrome piece down and undo the big screw holding the big handle on. Pulling up on the panel before pulling out on it will also help ensure that you do not damage the plastic clips on the back of the map pocket on the door panel only applies to front panels. If your arm rest is attached at the inner door handle you have a few more steps before you can remove it if not you can now remove it from the door panel.
